THERMAL IMAGING
Thermal Imaging was first used by the military for
detecting the "bad guys". Today it's
used for breast cancer screening, dentistry and other
medical procedures. As an effective tool in building
sciences it has a vast array of uses. A hand held
thermal imaging camera in the hands of trained and
experienced operator is a valuable investigative
tool. The camera can detect energy loss, verify the
integrity of a structure, prevent electrical fires
and pinpoint water issues on a roof.
All-Tech provides a fully documented hardcopy report
of the problem areas. This can help reduce insurance
costs, excessive repairs and maintenance and reduce
energy costs. All-Tech has the professional
associates within the group to evaluate the Thermal
Imaging results and offer clear, cost efficient
answers.

RADON...COMING TO THE BUILDING CODE IN 2010
Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas. You
can't see it, taste it or smell it. It is the
leading cause of lung cancer in non-smokers today. In
Canada about 2000 people will die from lung cancer
related to radon gas exposure. As we tighten up our
homes for energy efficiency it reduces the ability of
the house to breath and traps this gas.
All-Tech is now certified and equipped to test for
Radon. We use the seven day test by means of a dual
monitoring inspection. We install our own US EPA
approved electronic monitoring equipment and the
"E Perm"Ion Chamber detector. We prepare
the home and check it daily for seven days, then
tabulate our monitoring equipment and ship the
"E-Perm" detectors off to the lab for
testing. We document the two reports and establish a
bench mark that is verified by these two testing
methods. This is considered the elite test method. A
report is then generated with recommendations.
